9 Hong Kong players competing in the ASTAR Scrabble Challenge International 2023

The ASTAR Scrabble Challenge International 2023 will take place this weekend (20-21 May) in the Dewan Tunku Canselor, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.

ASCI resumed being a face-to-face tournament this year. Nine Hong Kong players are travelling to Malaysia to participate in this annual tournament organised by the First Residential College, University of Malaya.

  • Henry Lou (Methodist College)
  • Joseph Leung (Methodist College)
  • Lou Yuen Ching (St. Paul's Co-educational College)
  • Thomson Law Long Yin (Methodist College)
  • Ting Man Yui (Methodist College)

ASCI has been an annual event since 2006. The ASCI in 2021 and 2022 were moved online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
