Hong Kong representatives to compete in the WESPA Youth Cup 2020

The Hong Kong Youth Scrabble Team 2020, consisting of 7 Under-18 Scrabble players in Hong Kong, will be competing in the 15th WESPA Youth Cup organised by the World English-Language Scrabble Players Association (WESPA) from 23 January to 7 February 2021 (weekends only). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the WESPA Youth Cup this year will take place online on Woogles.io, an online platform for real-time word gaming. 16 countries will be participating in the tournament.

It is the sixth year for Hong Kong Scrabble Players Association (HKSPA) sends players to the annual youth championship. Last year, Brian PO, a Hong Kong representative, finished the tournament with the 8th place.

The members of the Hong Kong Youth Scrabble Team 2020 are Wesley CHOY Wing Chi, Thomson LAW Long Yin, HO Cheuk Yiu, Ernest SO Yat Long, Julian WONG Tsz Yu, Ian TSOI Yin and SIU Chun Hong.
