Qualifying for Hong Kong
To qualify for Team Hong Kong for the East Asian Scrabble Championship 2020, one must:
- Be an HKSPA member
- Have an HKSPA ranking (at least 50 rated games played)
- Have Hong Kong representation status under the Hong Kong Player Statuses Regulation
- The peak rating, excluding provisional ratings, from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019 will be used to determine the priority to enter HK team. The latest peak rating for the period is available here.
Players will be selected according to the peak ratings. Players who are interested and eligible may express their interest no later than 17 January 2020 by sending an email to the Association’s email (info@hkscrabble.org), after which the Association will announce the names of players selected.
