Seven Hong Kong youth Scrabble players will be playing in the WESPA Youth Cup 2022 on woogles.io starting this weekend!
The WESPA Youth Cup, formerly known as the World Youth Scrabble Championship, is the flagship youth event organised by the WESPA Youth Committee annually. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event this year will continue to take place virtually on woogles.io.
The seven Hong Kong players are:
- Ian TSOI Yin (Methodist College)
- LEUNG Hoi Yi (CCC Mong Man Wai College)
- LOU Yuen Ching (St. Paul's Co-educational College)
- TING Man Yui (Methodist College)
- Alex CHAN (Methodist College)
- Henry LOU (Methodist College)
- LAI Sum Yi (Methodist College)
I am glad to be the team leader of the Hong Kong Youths for another year.
Even though most of them are the first-timer to play in the WESPA Youth Cup, the kids are no stranger to tournaments in or outside Hong Kong. As usual, we send our top players or rising stars to this biggest youth event in the world. I have confident in them to play promisingly in the coming weekends.
We are longing to compete with the fellow young players around the world.
