Hong Kong student Thomson Law Long Yin entered the Final Stage of the Individual WESPA Youth Cup 2021

Thomson LAW Long Yin, a Hong Kong youth Scrabble player, finished 4th out of 72 players in the Group Stage of the Individual WESPA Youth Cup ("WYC") 2021 and will play in the event's Final Stage.

The Group Stage of the WYC was held from 7-8 and 14-15 August 2021 online on woogles.io. 72 players from 14 regions enrolled for the tournament. The top 10 players will enter the Final Stage after 36 exciting games in the Group Stage.

Thomson is a top Scrabble player in Hong Kong. In the past few years, he participated in various international youth events, including the WESPA Youth Cup and the ASTAR Scrabble Challenge International. He has been awarded 9th place in the WESPA Youth Cup 2018.
