Hong Kong Scrabble Players Association is now recruiting Executive Committee, Student Committee and Advisory Board members for Session 2020-21.
The Executive Committee, formally known as the Main Committee, is responsible for making decisions related to the public image of the Association and for carrying out the Objectives of the Association. There are eight positions in the Committee.
The Student Committee will advise the Executive Committee with respect to students in Hong Kong and organise events for students in Hong Kong when necessary. Only full-time Hong Kong post-secondary students can be appointed as a committee member.
The newly formed Advisory Board will provide advice to the Association in its general operation.
We are now recruiting committee members for the organisations mentioned above. If you are interested in being any committee members, you may let us know by sending an email to info@hkscrabble.org. Please include your personal information, a short statement stating how you would like to contribute to the Scrabble field in Hong Kong, and the positions you are interested in. It is not compulsory to send the email, but we may help to facilitate the communication between those interested in being the Executive Committee members.
For members interested in being the President and Vice-president, please note that these 2 positions are to be elected among members. The Executive Committee has appointed Chris LAU Kwun Shing as the Chairperson of the Election Commission for the Annual Election 2020.
