Carson Ip, the current Hong Kong Scrabble Champion, won the Hong Kong Scrabble Player’s Cup 2016 by defeating Euclid Hui in the race-to-nine final. The final score is Carson Ip 9-8 Euclid Hui.

Carson and Euclid played the last game of the best-of-seventeen series on 2 April 2017.
