Tournament Report: Inter-School Scrabble Championship 2016 - Primary (Novice)

On 23 January 2016, HKSPA organised the Inter-School Scrabble Championship 2016 - Primary (Novice) for local primary schools new to the Scrabble field. 13 schools competed in this tournament.

Each school can send 1 or 2 teams. Each team consists of 2 players, and they will play against 2 other players on 1 board. The teams are paired by Swiss draw. For schools sending 2 teams, the average results of the 2 teams will be counted towards the final school ranking.

After 5 games, Lok Wah Catholic Primary School got the Gold Cup Champion with 4 wins and a spread of +701, while Ho Lap Primary School (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen) got the Gold Cup 1st Runner-up. Christian Alliance S Y Yeh Memorial Primary School got the Gold Cup 2nd Runner-up.
