Mr. Toh Weibin conducts Scrabble workshop in Hong Kong

Mr. Toh Weibin, the World Youth Scrabble Champion 2007, conducted a Scrabble workshop in the City University of Hong Kong on 14 July 2017. Mr. Toh, an experienced Singaporean Scrabble player, has been awarded the Grandmaster title by the Scrabble Association, Singapore. He is also known as “Mr. 850” for his highest game score in an international tournament (See http://www.wespa.org/news/2012x01b.shtml).

The workshop was attended by near 30 players from Hong Kong and Japan. The participants of the workshop will have a chance to apply what they have learnt in the Hong Kong Scrabble Challenge 2017 on 16 and 17 July, in which Mr. Toh will play in the extra tournament himself.
