Cooperating with the Headstart Group, the Secondary Category of the Inter-School Scrabble Championship is presented as “Headstart Cup” Hong Kong Inter-Secondary School Scrabble Championship this year.

Date: 3rd March 2018 (Sat)

Time: 09:00 - 18:00

Venue: School Hall, TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College
1C Oxford Road, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon

Categories: Masters and Novice

Eligibility: Each secondary school in Hong Kong is eligible to send a team of 4 players. Each school must send at least 1 player from secondary 1-3 in each round.

Format: 4 games, Swiss Draw, last round King of the Hill (KOTH)
25 minutes per player, free challenge, WESPA rules version 3

Dictionary: Collins Official Scrabble Words 2015

Prizes:

School Awards
For each division: Champion, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up and Merit will get a trophy, medal and certificate.

Individual Awards
For each division: Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up will get a medal and certificate.

High Word and High Game winner will get a medal and certificate.

The Most Valuable Player from each school will get a certificate. Schools with less than 3 players in any one round will not be qualified for this award.
