4th Joint-School Scrabble Tournament for Novices (2018-2019)
Aiming at providing a platform for new Scrabble players to play with opponents of similar level in a competitive yet friendly environment, Hong Kong Scrabble Players Association is organising the 4th Joint-School Scrabble Tournament for Novices (2018-2019).
This year, an introductory workshop will be provided in the morning and 3 rounds of competitive Scrabble games will be played in the afternoon. Both the workshop and the tournament will take place on 26 January 2019 at HKMLC Ming Tao Primary School.
Introductory Workshop
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
Content: Basics of Scrabble: Introduction, Word Skills (Anagramming and Hooks), Game Rules, Score Calculation, Advanced Game Skills
Tournament for Novices
Time: 13:00 - 17:00
Format: 3 games, Australian Swiss Draw
