10 Hong Kong representatives to compete in the WESPA Youth Cup 2017 in Malaysia

10 representatives from the Hong Kong Youth Scrabble Team 2017 will be competing in the 12th WESPA Youth Cup organised by the World English-Language Scrabble Players Association (WESPA) from 27 to 29 November in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 12th WESPA Youth Cup will feature 192 under-18 players from 15 countries.

It is the third time the Hong Kong Scrabble Players Association (HKSPA) sends players to the annual youth championship, following the successes of the previous teams to Australia and France. HKSPA, established in 2014, is the national Scrabble association of Hong Kong. HKSPA aims to promote Scrabble to students and the general public in Hong Kong.

HKSPA would like to thank Mattel Games and the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education for their support towards the Hong Kong Youth Scrabble Team.
